Periplus, noun.
— (from Greek περίπλους) a manuscript documenting the ports along a naval route. While similar to a logbook in some sense, a periplus may also include the notes from the captain or the author.
Who?
I’m Aeneas — the guy in the friend group who traveled to a super niche destination and can’t stop talking about it. Or, as I like to say, a peripatetic traveler and the creator of The Periplus.
What?
The Periplus is a semi-personal travel blog where I explore and write about different destinations. In addition to travel tips, bucket lists, and personal stories, I share articles that delve into the cultural aspects of the destinations I visit.
